Bed & beakfast “al laghetto” is the perfect place for people who love nature and home-made food. It is placed in the village of Basovizza, in the Carso plain, 400 meters over sea level and away from the smog and the traffic of the city.
Bed & beakfast “al laghetto” is in the middle of a green area, with the dolina of Basovizza in its backyard.

The pond area: after entering in the little village of Basovizza (Trieste) through the road that takes you to the Slovenian border (via Gruden), pass the church and you’ll find the small green area of the pond.
It is a well-cured pic-nic area, about 550 mt long, where in summer period there is the typical rural festival of the village. You’ll see the wood tables under old limes and horse chestnuts.
Moreover through some near paths you can find a jogging circuit of 3 rings: about 3 km, 5 km and 8 km, located in a little park of about 18.000 sq mt.
In the village you’ll find all you need: bars, restaurants, markets, the postal office, the bank, the pharmacy … etc.
